I love the fact...This book sounds really good Lian! I love the fact that you choose a book that you could relate too. You are definetley right that there are many children in the world that could relate to the unfortunate treatment and experiences that Chibi had. This would be a great book to share with students in the classroom. They could not only relate to it, but do some good writing activities as well. I liked your description of the book because it made me want to read about it! As you mentioned most people could probably relate to Chibi in some way. I also liked that you took your experiences in school and spoke about them as well. This is a great book for text-to-self connections. I am glad that Chibi found that one great teacher that changed his life!
